Casa Bonita Menorca is not just a holiday home just a few kilometres from Mahon. Casa Bonita is an experience that starts with breakfast and, after a day of amazing sea and nature, can continue with an aperitif by the pool. That’s not all. You can also enjoy Mediterranean style and flavour dinners with fresh ingredients from Menorca, vegetables and aromas from our garden. We like to create in the kitchen, we just have to discover what you like. And the stars are watching.
Breakfast: good morning!
Prepared with love. It is made of simple and genuine foods that make you feel at home: bread, butter, jams, honey and traditional Menorcan products – milk, biscuits, ‘ensaimada‘ – to start the day with moments that taste as good as when we were children.
It is served with kindness and imbued with the scents of ‘grandma’s cakes’: the carrot cake and that of almonds are short-lived! Have breakfast with family and friends, look at the sky and listen to the wind and then decide what to do.
Meanwhile, we take care of you with lemons from the garden, mint-scented orange juice from the orchard, natural yoghurt, traditional cheeses from cow, sheep, goat and more or less matured, seasonal fruit and sobresada… good morning, Menorca!
Breakfast is included in the house rental. It is served from 8am to 10am on the veranda or terrace. In addition to coffee, milk and tea, on the table you will find mint orange juice, fresh fruit, yoghurt, homemade cakes and jams, butter and Menorcan specialities such as cured meats and cheeses, biscuits and ``ensaimada``, the island's traditional cake.
Sunset aperitif by the pool
The sunset colours the Menorcan sky and accompanies our poolside aperitifs. Wine, beer, fruit juices but, above all, our Venetian Spritz and Gin Tonic made to perfection. To be sipped with tasty appetisers, laughter and conversation. Because an aperitif is also an experience of sharing and discussion.
Our aperitifs are moments shared not only with guests but also with friends from all over the world who frequent Casa Bonita Menorca where... the door is always open!
Invitation to dinner with Mediterranean flair
We love to create. Casa Bonita’s kitchen is a hotbed of recipes that we love to share with friends and guests: we organise dinners by reservation. We love quality ingredients, eating well and healthy.
We have a few delicacies: Italian coffee, slow-processed artisanal pasta from Benevento, Sardinian mullet roe, salted capers from Pantelleria, sun-dried tomatoes from Calabria, Sicilian and Ligurian extra virgin olive oil…
Garden flavours and short cooking times for ingredients mixed with passion and imagination: pasta, meat, fish, savoury and sweet pies, vegetables, tapas. Welcome to the shared table, in the garden and on the veranda, of Casa Bonita Menorca!
