The garden and swimming pool of Casa Bonita Menorca

Casa Bonita Menorca is built on a plot of land of one thousand square meters in Trebaluger, a residential area in the countryside on the outskirts of Mahon. The garden is designed to offer you moments of peace and relaxation in Menorca. How? With sofas for reading and hammocks for resting in the shade of pine and wild olive trees. Then, with native plants that tell the changing seasons to the two house turtles. And with a saltwater pool about 11 meters long and 5.5 meters wide where swimming is above all well-being!

The comfort of the saltwater pool

Like most of the pools on the island, Casa Bonita’s was chlorinated. We chose to change the water disinfection system from chlorine to salt. For environmental sustainability: less chemistry, more nature. For more healthy swimming and greater comfort. Finally, we heat the water in April and October.

The garden with an organic vegetable plot

A Menorcan garden – without lawn, with pink, white and grey stones – and native plants such as wild olive trees, cacti and pine trees surround Casa Bonita. The scent of lavender mingles with with them of the organic vegetable garden where salads, tomatoes, vegetables and aromatic herbs grow “centimeter zero”.

The veranda and the dining room

A white wooden design table and chairs all different furnish the veranda, which is also the setting for breakfasts, dinners and photographs. Here is the lounge with a whole wall of books: Casa Bonita’s library is an invitation to read! Overlook the sofa with linen cushions, ideal for reading, listening to music and enjoying the sounds of Menorca.
